Investment Trust Tips 2011 Aggressive Portfolio
This year’s investment trust tips launched on 1 August 2011. There is something for both cautious or aggressive investors, and across nine different sectors such as UK, emerging markets and private equity.

Last year’s tips performed brilliantly. The defensive tips produced an average gain of 20.3 per cent in the year to 1 August 2011. The aggressive tips made an average gain of 27.4 per cent. This compares with a 13.7 per cent gain from the All-Share index and a 12.9 per cent gain for the FTSE World ex-UK index.

Investment trust portfolio
Rather better than my I.T.portfolio of emerging market I.T.s which declined by 12.05%. But only as good as my general portfolio of mixed equities, down by 9.5%. I am a subscriber to Money Observer, but have no other claim to distinction. I find the magazine interesting, stimulating and useful in planning my strategy and in stock selection.
