Ricardo is an investment manager focussed on new solar power plant acquisitions in the UK. He has invested GBP 50 million of UK tax efficient funds in the acquisition of four UK Solar power plants totalling 16MW and has overseen their commercial management since then. He led the refinancing of the UK solar portfolio through the issuance of a listed GBP 60 million index linked bond, the largest UK solar bond issuance to date. Prior to joining Foresight, Ricardo worked for Espirito Santo Investment, where he spent three years in the project finance division, focusing on the energy and transport sectors.
