Matthew is a Managing Partner, Chair of the Hg Investment Committee and is a member of the Operating Committee of the firm. Matthew focuses on technology investments and is a board member of several Hg investments including Achilles, Intelliflo and Mitratech. He was formerly on the boards of Allocate Software, Valueworks and Sequel Business Solutions (acquired by Verisk). Matthew joined Hg in 2010, having previously been a Partner at Apax Partners.Matthew has a B.Eng from Imperial College, London and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Justin is a Managing Partner of Hg. He is a member of the Operating Committee and Realisation Committee and leads the Firm’s Munich office. Justin joined Hg in 2002. He is currently a Director of Kalo QUNDIS Group and RAET. His previous investment activities included P&I, SimonsVoss, Teufel, SFC, SLV, Schleich, Hofmann Menü, Schenck Process, Hirschmann and FTE. Prior to Hg, Justin was employed by Goldman Sachs and Deloitte. He holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Cologne.
