James joined Merian in 2010 and is a member of the UK equity team. He joined from Baring Asset Management, where he was a pan-European equity analyst focusing primarily on the consumer discretionary and consumer staples sectors. He joined Barings from Bear Stearns, where he was a pan-European telecommunications analyst. James has a BSc in banking and international finance from Cass Business School (2005).
