Mark Mobius, Ph.D., executive chairman of Templeton Emerging Markets Group, currently directs 50 analysts based in Franklin Templeton's 18 emerging markets offices and manages the emerging markets portfolios. Dr. Mobius has spent more than 40 years working in emerging markets all over the world. He joined Franklin Templeton in 1987 as president of the Templeton Emerging Markets Fund, Inc. Dr. Mobius earned bachelor's and master's degrees from Boston University, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in economics and political science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Grzegorz Konieczny is an executive vice president, portfolio manager with research and portfolio management responsibilities for central and eastern Europe. He is also the portfolio manager of Fondul Proprietatea, the largest closed-end investment fund in Romania. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton in 1995, Mr. Konieczny was the director of Capital Market Transactions at Bank Gdanski, one of the largest financial institutions in Poland at the time. He entered the financial services industry in 1992. Mr. Konieczny holds a master's degree in economics and foreign trade from the University of Gdansk (Poland) and an investment advisor license from the Polish Securities and Exchange Commission. Mr. Konieczny speaks Polish, English and Russian.

Carlos von Hardenberg is senior vice president and the Director of Frontier Markets Strategy for the Templeton Emerging Markets Group. In this capacity, he is responsible for setting the overall strategy for his respective area, providing guidance and thought leadership, coordinating appropriate resources and coverage, and leveraging the group's expertise to add value across products within the strategy. In addition, he is the portfolio manager for the Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust PLC, and collaborates on the Global Emerging Markets strategies. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton in 2002, Mr. von Hardenberg was an analyst in the Corporate Finance Department for Bear Stearns International in London. He entered the financial services industry in 1999. Mr. von Hardenberg holds a M.Sc., with distinction, in investment management from London City University Business School (UK) and a B.Sc., with honors, in business studies from the University of Buckingham (UK). He speaks German, English and Spanish.
