The investment objective of the Fund is long term capital appreciation by way of investing in a globally diversified portfolio of technology companies. Although the Fund may receive income in the form of dividends, interest and from other sources, income is not a primary consideration. The Fund will invest at least two thirds of its total assets in technology-related companies worldwide. The Fund will take a geographically diversified approach and operate within broad asset allocation ranges, but there are no specified limits on investing in any geographical region or single country.

Nick joined Polar Capital in September 2007 and has eleven years experience as a technology specialist. He has been lead manager of the Polar Capital Global Technology Fund since January 2008. He was previously Head of Technology at AXA Framlington and Citywire ‘A’ rated. He was lead manager of the AXA Framlington Global Technology Fund and the AXA World Fund (AWF) – Framlington Global Technology (both rated five stars by S&P) between Aug 2001 and July 2007. Prior to this he spent three years as a Pan European Investment Manager and Technology Analyst at Hill Samuel Asset Management. Nick graduated from Hull University with a degree in economics.
