The fund is an exchange traded fund (ETF) that aims to track the performance of the MSCI Japan Small Cap Index as closely as possible. The ETF invests in physical index securities. The MSCI Japan Small Cap Index offers exposure to Japanese small cap stocks which rank below the MSCI Japan Index measured by market capitalisation and comply with MSCI's size, liquidity, and free float criteria. The index is free float market capitalisation weighted. iShares ETFs are funds managed by BlackRock.
