Andrew began his career in financial journalism at Euromoney magazine in 1991. He joined Money Observer in 1994 and became editor in May 1998. Andrew was named best Financial Consumer Journalist in 2003 and 2008 by the Association of Investment Companies. He holds the Personal Finance Society’s Financial Planning Certificate.

Ruth joined the Money Observer team in 2008, after spending three years writing for a pensions magazine at the Financial Times. She has also spent time living in Hong Kong, where she freelanced for various publications including Forbes and Time Out.
