Faith Glasgow

Faith Glasgow took over as editor at Money Observer in September 2015, having been managing editor of the magazine for more than two years. Before she joined the Money Observer staff team, she spent 15 years as a freelance journalist, during which time she wrote regularly for the magazine and also contributed to the Investors Chronicle, the Financial Times weekend money pages, Moneywise and the Independent, among many other publications. In recent years she has received awards from the British Venture Capital Association, Santander and Towers Watson, among other institutions.

Andrew Pitts

Andrew began his career in financial journalism at Euromoney magazine in 1991. He joined Money Observer in 1994 and became editor in May 1998. He stepped down from the editor’s role in September 2015, though he continues as a regular contributor to Money Observer and editor of the quarterly Trust supplement. Andrew was named best Financial Consumer Journalist in 2003 and 2008 by the Association of Investment Companies, and in 2015 received a special award from the AIC in recognition of his long-term contribution to the investment trust industry. He holds the Personal Finance Society’s Financial Planning Certificate.

Kyle Caldwell

Kyle joined Money Observer in April 2016 from Telegraph Media Group, where he was a personal finance reporter, specialising in investments. He began his financial journalism career in 2010 at trade publication Investment Week. He was won various awards, including the Investment Association’s National Investment Journalist of the Year (2014 and 2015) Association of Investment Companies National Journalist of the Year (2015) and Association of Investment Companies Trade Journalist of the Year (2012 and 2013). More recently (in 2017) he was named Financial Consumer Journalist of the Year by the Association of Investment Companies.

Tom Bailey writes about the world of finance, investment and retirement. He came to Money Observer as the magazine’s web content manager, but soon started contributing news and features on a regular basis; he took over the post of staff writer in July 2018. He is a graduate of University College London and has previously worked at other publications writing on finance and economics.
