The Fund may invest in investment trusts and collective investment schemes which themselves concentrate on investments in such countries, as well as securities of companies which, while listed on established stock exchanges worldwide, conduct a significant proportion of their business in these countries. The ACD's policy is not to generally employ derivatives in equity portfolios, although the Fund may use derivatives for efficient portfolio management and hedging.
